Emily and Ed are madly in love, and every song on Ed's first album is about Emily, but the songs on his next album may not all be about her. His fans are frightened about their turns within their relationship as he is known world around. Ed nor Emily have been prone to people always looking at them when they go down the street, and that may change things between the couple completely.

The narrator recalls their first love, an old flame who was one of the highlights of their lives. Wait by M83, the narrator's favorite song, was inspired by the relationship and their experience with love. The narrator believes that happiness is a gift given to them by their decision to stay or not. The song reminds the narrator of everything. Love is a rollercoaster, but it is always blind. The narrator and their partner have created and maintained their love throughout their lives and careers. They listen to Ed Sheeran's "All of the Stars" and feel like stars shining brightly as they walk. The narrator suggests the title All of the Stars, We Fall, but they both liked the part about all the stars.
