After the High Council has been sorted out, Cliffjumper and Arcee are back together. Sort of. Arcee is still trying to grasp that Cliffjumper is here. He's alive. She doesn't know how to cope with that knowledge, but she also doesn't know what effects it will have on the poor mech pining after her. Cliffjumper, if nothing else, only wants his partner back. If she doesn't feel the same way, he would be perfectly happy just to maintain the partnership they'd had before. It's hard, being back from the dead. Cliffjumper wants to make the most of it. Skylar or Skye Temple is the popular girl at school. Who hates it when people call her shallow. She loves her twin brother Matt. They live with their mum since their mother had told them their father had died in the army when they were younger. After an argument at a local lake party, leaving her brother behind Skye starts walking home until a yellow and black comaro pulls up beside her with Sam witwicky inside. Sam lives across the street from the Temples. Skye has never really had a conversation with Sam since he seems to act shy when around her and doesn't talk so she left it be. Taking Sam's offer for a ride home, she gets in his new car with him.
