Before there were the powerful quartz soldiers, there were Beastals. Special variations of well-known gems that were altered during incubation to give them control of horrifying beast forms. Created from the Beastal program, Almandine is always trying to control the savage nature she was given by White Diamond, her creator. Despite being made to be feared and respected, she wishes she could have a deeper connection with those who are not like her. One day changes everything, a change that might not be what she wanted to get tangled up in.
