Always remember "Almost is Never Enough"

They were never brave enough to turn what they felt into something real, never brave enough to confirm and never brave enough to tell. It was all stolen glances, unfinished conversations, uncertain emotions and moments that felt heavier than they should have. They were close enough to be something, yet always stopped just before crossing the line that would have made it real. This story is inspired by my recent breakup because if I can't heal in peace I might as well entertain y'all with the details. Most of these scenarios are exaggerated a bit and by a bit I mean a lot but the plot does come from personal experience.
