Realizing she was holding her breath, Greta exhaled and shut her eyes. Clasping the letter close to her chest, then quickly pulling it back to read through it again. She knew this would be a letter that she would read repeatedly for days to come. She wrote. She really wrote. She didn't say bye to her on that porch and disappear into thin air. She thought of her, of them, and she wrote. or, Carson writes Greta a letter a few weeks after the season ended.
