The first outlines of an old memory emerged in Sirius's mind. Like breath misting on a cold glass. He remembered the strange dream he had, before he woke up in the mud, straight from duelling Bellatrix and fighting in the Death Room, of a place he didn't know but he remembered, he remembered a pub, and a storm in the 1960s, coming to see Alphard when he was about seven, and of some local muggles- what had that man said? Something about a place where the spirit world comes close. How Skye was a thin place. He just never expected to see the Isles again, after Azkaban, never mind his Uncle Alphard or his little brother Regulus... But that's the Other Side, so they say. It was the year 1966 and the Wizarding World he knew was gone. Some things seemed the same- like James and the Potters, they seemed normal, as normal as a six year old James Potter could have really been. But things were different. It was all different, and it terrified him- his mother was dead already, for one. Literally what the title says. Your favorite characters from the Marauders era in a fan fic cast. Disclaimer: These actors and actresses are how I view the the Marauders Era characters, so please respect my opinion :). Also, I have added birthdays to them, and some of the years are wrong, and I know that. I did that because it fits my perspective- ❤

The House of Black is in unanimous agreement: Walburga will marry Orion. Walburga, naturally, finds this intolerable. The presumption. The suffocating, gilt-framed inevitability of it all. Orion, for his part, keeps saying duty when he means something far less civilised, and no one seems inclined to notice the difference - least of all the woman he's been watching with the patience of a saint and the restraint of a man who knows exactly what happens when you rush a creature that bites. Vždy čistý - to je heslo rodu Blacků. Ale byli i tací, kteří s myšlenkami rodiny nesouhlasili. Někteří si tím byli jisti odjakživa a otevřeně to propagovali, někteří se to báli dát najevo a odnesli si své tajemství do hrobu, u jiných se to projevilo, až když se zamilovali. A byli tací, kteří naopak pro udržení tradic byli schopni zabíjet - a to i ty, které považovali za rodinu. A každý má svůj příběh. Známe celý rodokmen Blackových od roku 1845, kdy se narodil nejstarší známý člen rodiny, Sirius. Kořeny této rodiny ale sahají ještě mnohem dál. Paní Rowlingová dala k dispozici rodokmen i s většinou dat narození a úmrtí. Rozhodla jsem se toho využít. Nejde o jednotnou dlouhou fanfikci, ale spíš o takové jednorázové útržky. Nebudou ani řazené podle časové posloupnosti, ale spíš tak co mě zrovna napadne. Kde paní Rowlingová stanovila datum nebo rok, tam se ho snažím udržet. Kde ne, tam si musím domýšlet.
