Written for The Disability Challenge - Mobility Prompts. "Evera. What a fitting name. Almost silly, if you ask me. 'Brave one'. Did they know I'd end up like this? Sometimes, I dream about being able to do something, but when I wake up, it's the last time I'm ever able to do it. It's like my brain reminding me that I can do whatever it is, not once again, but twice again." ** Disclaimer: I do not have ALS, nor am I a caretaker or friend to anyone with ALS. The story is based loosely on the experiences of someone I know, combined with my own experiences becoming nonverbal, and some research. All respectful feedback is appreciated!

Allison is one half of the Vine and YouTube duo known as The MACK Girls. When Claire and Allison are asked to join a summer long tour for Magcon, they jump at the opportunity. Arriving a couple days early, the girls decide to attend a meet and greet to see how the boys really act. When Matthew and Allison first meet, Matthew seems self-centered and rude. Being forced to room together for the length of the tour, Allison is determined to figure out who the real Matthew Espinosa is. Is he the sweet and funny boy that she dreamed about dating, or is he truly the self-centered, overconfident guy he was at the first meet and greet?

The unknown story about how I lost my best friend. My grandpa was a kind man. He loved science, flowers, and birds. But when he was diagnosed with ALS I was still in elementary school. I didn't know he was going to die, I thought he would get better. I wasn't aware that he was dying until he did. A story of friendship, happiness, sorrow, and pain.

Her whole world beings to crumble around her, her family pulls away, not wanting to pay her hefty medical bills, her dreams of being a dancer crushed underfoot. But her boyfriend, Alec, stays, no matter what. But was his staying a bad decision, only ending in hurt for the ones around her, or a decision that could help her live.

Josephane Prayne is just another pretty face. Something to be seen and then forgotten. But she has a secret, folded in the deepest parts of her. She's dying. Everyone dies, just not because of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Lou Gharigg's Disease. She doesn't fit in with the rest of her people; but not because of her sickness.
