'This routine would be so awesome,' Yurio thought, 'if only Otabek could get his damn part right.' So this fic came to me when I was watching Welcome to the Madness last week and I realized that a routine like that doesn't just happen. Yurio and Otabek would have had to practice that routine. So then I wondered, how many times did they have to practice Otabek taking off Yurio's glove with his teeth? How many times did Otabek accidentally bite Yurio's finger instead, and how awkward were the subsequent apologies? This spiraled way out of my control, but yeah, here's a fic about OtaYuri practicing for madness.

Yuri Plisetsky is a pro ice skater who works part time at a café right beside a popular ice rink, known as the Prince's crown. Many skaters gather there to skate or chill at the café, including Russia's Ice King, Victor Nikiforov and his boyfriend, two-time finalist of the Grand Prix, Yuuri Katsuki. Yuri would usually never bat an eye at any of the customers or fans, until a very pretty boy shows up. (The pictures in here are not mine, except for the ones I've commented on.) After traveling around for a while, Yuri makes his way back to his hometown to meet up with friends (aka Viktor pestering him to come visit since he left just over a year ago). Unexpectedly, he ends up running into his long-time competitor, yet first 'actual' friend, Otabek. With both surprised to see each other, Yuri said they need to catch up and hang out, while Otabek tried to hide his amazement about how Yuri went from a graceful, petite skater to Mr. Russia grabbing the attention of all the young skaters and fans alike. Yet he only had his eyes set on the one man who always saw more. ((Mentions of alcohol and probably more stuff added later on))
