Keith had always been a loner, but after finding out he isn't human, he has never felt more alone. But there is always a way back home, Keith just needs to find it, back to Voltron, with his family. The game is just beginning, and Keith is the player. A game of life and death, Needles and Hearts.

Keith always thought his life would always stay the same. Wake up cold, and go to bed hungry. It wasn't any easier with the masked villains threatening the city. Keith never cared about what they did, as long as they never hurt anyone. But after he is kidnapped and used as a bargaining device against the city's superhero, Sharpshooter, he comes back out with a little more than just a story to tell. ----------------------- "Of course, Lance was used to getting everything he wanted and every bit of attention; that was just part of his life. This is a Voltron Au story

Merfolk with Blue tails, were treated with the most respect- were the most wealthy and the most privileged, usually royalty would have these colored tails. Purple tails were behind blue tails- Not usually royalty, but they were also quite wealthy- treated with a little less respect then blue tails- but still treated with a lot of respect and were also pretty privileged. White tails weren't that wealthy...but still wealthy enough to provide, They weren't treated with a lot of respect but still got some, and they are a bit less privileged then purple and blue tails. And then there is Red Tails. They we're treated with little to no respect at all- not wealthy all the time, usually poor- and Not privileged at all. They we're treated like dump And every red tailed mermaid and merman HATED it, Until one very tragic day, The Red tails broke out an attack on the entire kingdom...sadly the end of the battle. The kingdom was broke to shambles- and the Red Tails were banished to a place called The Galran caves, were no Merfolk has ever dared to enter. Years and Years has passed from that tragic day....To the present day: Keith is a Red tailed merman. Sadly living in The Caves with his brother thanks to his ancestors. But Keith was a very....Disobedient child and went past the Caves anyway, even with fair warnings not too. Lance is the Soon to be king of Altea, The kingdom of the merfolk, he is a blue tail and is living happily with his sister Allura, and his father. Until Lance set off to explore the outside of the kingdom, even though he was said not too and bumps into a certain Red tailed Mullet. Is this Mer-meeting Fate? Or is it just a silly encounter.

Altean Lance meets a younger galran at a young age and they always stayed connected until Allura finds out.... Klance ❤️❤️❤️

"The HELL were you thinking, Lance?! Ejecting your lion into the Galra warship was the dumbest thing you'e done! If it weren't for Allura covering your ass at the last moment, you would've fucking died in there!" yelled Keith Kogane harshly towards the blue paladin, who, by then, thought what he had done was in the right. "Uhh, Keith, it was me who had cover for him at the last moment." added Hunk beside him, which only earned himself a glare by the hot-headed ravenette. The Yellow Paladin then took a gulp of both his saliva and air before looking down at his gloved fingers with a guilty expression, as if he had deeply insulted them. "Nevermind that! If you died, then we would lost our way of forming Voltron, and who do you think is going to stop Zarkon from taking over-" the teen's words stopped when he felt cold metal landed ontop his right shoulder. The Black Paladin, with his Galra arm, patting Keith's shoulder seemed to had calmed the Korean male down from killing Lance with those hateful shots of glaring, if only looks could harm his body. "Keith, Lance hadn't done anything wrong, instead, he'd-" Shiro started, but his sentence was halfway finished before another voice cut in. "They would've died if it weren't for me crashing into them. They would've blasted to bits. People from our planet would've been striked dead without even knowing what had hit them." said Lance, a deep frown was drawn across his face, as if he had been kicked repeatedly in the stomach. The whole room's presence became tense, and all of the paladins' faces dropped. All of them, including Keith, couldn't deny the fact that whatever Lance had say, was true. Shiro took a glance at the occupied healing pods, each three of them consists of other human residents, taking their time to recover from their injuries. It would be a matter of seconds now, as Allura has spoken, until the three astronauts' awakening......

Lance barley remembers a time before he was thrown in a psychiatric hospital. When a mysterious man appears in his room one night he is forced to follow the stranger into a magical frozen world. A corrupt king and a curse prevents him from getting to the one he loves. He learns he must save this frozen world and that he has ice powers of his own Now Lance faces choices that will decide the fate of a kingdom and if he can ever return to the life he once knew.

I know this will never be canon and that lotor is kinda dead now, but i really enjoy these kinds of story's (no I am not a sadist or masochist!) in this story, lance will be altean, he doesn't find out till later thou so yea. thank you!!
