At first it's small things like the height increasing and getting a little stronger everyday but then he realises what the changes really mean and what he will become but what will team voltron have to say to the former red palidan when they finally get to see him after a long year of him training with the BOM and his changes ? What will lance do when he realises that the kind, emo Keith he once knew might never come back ? But most of all what happens when the young, determined garla half breed altean/Druid catches the eye of a half breed prince and his crooked family...?

*Editing Soon* After the battle with Zarkon Keith disappears and is assumed to be dead by the team. A month later they come across a mysterious ship floating near a wormwhole. Inside they find Keith, but not their Keith. This Keith is Altean from an alternate reality where he was the protector of his Prince, Lance.

The war ends, leaving Keith feeling utterly lost, unable to approach Allura regarding his feelings due to personal insecurities. The young paladin tries seeking out the place he belongs now that Castle of Lions no longer seems like home now that Voltron is needed, but also seeks the truth regarding his parentage, only to find out things aren't as they always seem. Disclaimer - I don't own Voltron: Legendary Defender. This is for the first Kallura month prompt for 2017. Keith's autistic, Shiro's brother, Ryo's twin, and while he things he's part Galra, he's actually part Altean. The original plan for 'Moon Princess' wasn't to have flashbacks to the relationship between Keith's parents, but I found the story didn't flow right.

The three Galras on the run, Pidge, Hunk and Lance, on their way to back the Blade. On their way they crash land on a destroyed planet, forgotten by all planets around. As they all find a castle they sneak inside, looking around all over, but when Lance finds a empty room- four Altean healing pods pop out of the ground. The Galra's are attacked by the four Alteans that leaped out of their pods, but they are given the knowledge of the Galra's plans to head back to the rebel Blade. As they were invited by the princess to stay the night, the three had learned the four Alteans' names, which were Keith, Shiro, Allura and Coran. Even though Allura, Shiro and Coran were peaceful with the three rebels, but Keith was still closed off and didn't trust them at all. He showed it as well, but it was more apparent with Lance, even though he had been the most friendly and trusting with the Alteans. --------------- ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤 (SMUT WARNING)
