Y/n has lived in Meteor City ever since they could remember. Since she was little, they have been alone, of what Y/n knows, barely surviving. Learning how to steal small portions of food and clothes, Y/n has been able to live for around 12 years in Meteor City. Not actually knowing their birthday, it is the age they remember being told. Finally getting strong enough Y/n decides to leave their home the following year and start a new life in the city. From the city being so busy, they were able to make a living out of stealing and took up jobs for bounties to get money. One day Y/n heard about the Hunter exam and decided to take the challenge up. Meeting new friends along the way Y/n learns unexpected things about their past. Warning for blood, violence, suicide, and other topics as such. I do not own Hunter x Hunter characters. I only own Y/n. May be spelling or grammar errors. I do not have posting dates set, so I will post when I can. :)

An alternative version to what I think Nilou should have gotten compared to what she actually got because I think she deserved a better role in the story so this is my interpretation! I hope you enjoy it!!! (!Explainer: This is fun purposes only!)

And so, the girl woke up in a strange place, unsure of her situation. She travels though the strange land, and each time she completes an assigned task, her world changes into a completely new one. Persevering, she moves forward once more.

Patches and Mark decide to go on a heist to steal a precious artifact from the most secure vault in a museum they found. Though, due to a few slip ups and communication errors, they end up in prison. There, Patches meets Yancy, who promises a way out. Since Mark has been immobilized by one of the inmates, it's up to Patches to figure out how to get through this whole thing. (Basically, AHWM but Viewer/Patches in this case stays longer in prison and tries to get the artifact.) This is my first ever fic so any and all critiques are welcome. This is practice for when I start to write more seriously and make original works.

I do not own death note or any of these characters (except Sara) Don't read on if you havnt seen death note: it has spoilers I couldn't accept how L died. In this version I am starting on the day he died, and I'm altering it to make sure he doesn't die. To do this I'm adding myself to the story. Myself (Sara is her name :P not my real name) She somehow ends up in the show 'Death Note.' She lives in an alternate dimension than the show. However~ when she ends up on L's perishing day in the same dimension as he, and prevents his death, it is certain to light he must abolish her at any cost. (She has seen the whole show so she knows what is going to happen) The thing is, she cant be killed by the death note. What will Light do?

Firstly, it was just the prisoners that were used. Then it became orphans, and even some of the elderly. Now it is everyone in a society where people are struggling to find work. Money is offered to anyone willing to volunteer themselves or their children to take part in scientific trials run by the organisation called Calox. Except no one ever gets the money. No one is ever seen again once they've volunteered for the trials. (This is the first book in the 'Children of Calox' series. 'Flames' is the sequel, and therefore the second book in the series. I plan to write between three and five books in total.)
