THE AMBY AWARDS 2022 WINNER (Best Series) Book One (Book Three of the trilogy is on the WATTYS 2022 SHORTLIST) Wattpad featured story. The Adept Pen 21 finalist. Samara, a young woman from London, visits Bran Castle in Romania during a Halloween night. Somehow, she's always felt drawn to the story of Vlad the Impaler, the historical character who allegedly inspired the writer, Bram Stoker, to write his Count Dracula. Annoyed by her noisy friends, she strolls behind her group when they enter the castle and thus gets approached by their tall dark and handsome guide. Samara can't fight the attraction she feels for him, even after he claims to be Vlad Dracul himself, obviously making fun of her...or? At the end of the tour, unable to resist her curiosity, she follows the guide through a dark corridor and time travels to another time, a late medieval world populated by very unusual vampires, where she had once belonged. The mysterious guide turns out to be her husband, none less than Vlad III, the Prince of Wallachia, the Impaler... Dracula. Samara's memories start to trickle back slowly, both good and bad. The man she loves so much that she feels overcome by her feelings for him is not exactly as he was when she left him before, when she... died. A lot of things have changed in her absence, in six hundred years. But she is changed too, having grown up in the 21st century this time around, she is not quite the same girl as when she lived in Vlad's castle, in the late medievals. Will the great love they feel for each other despite their long separation be strong enough to overcome all their differences? Will Samara and Vlad accept each other as they are now and fight for their love? Will they defend it in the dangerous world they live in, full of people, or better vampires, who would rather see them apart? In this place where nothing and no one is what they really seem to be at first sight? Cover: @WakeWriteWrath

In the shadowed corridors of Tudor England, Lady Mary Tudor-future Bloody Mary-harbors a secret that could shatter the throne: a forbidden affair with Imperial ambassador François van der Delft, a polyglot genius whose whispers ignite passion defying empires. Conceived in July-August 1549 secrecy, their bastard son is smuggled to the de Vere family, raised as Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford-the true author of Shakespeare's works, the hidden Tudor prince raging against his stolen crown. As Mary's "delicate health" masks her truth and van der Delft meets a suspicious end, the boy grows under William Cecil's eye, blackmailed into marriage amid Elizabeth's protective gaze-his blood aunt. Edward's liaison with Mary Browne plants Tudor seed in Catholic soil, blooming with James I's 1603 ascension: Mary's line triumphs over Elizabeth's myth. Interwoven with a modern quest, accounting student Ruth Rose uncovers this Prince Tudor Theory III in a Shakespeare class, her life aching for meaning as she teams with everyman Stephen Rogers. In Manila's university, they decode sonnets and dispatches, sparks flying amid research-proving Shakespeare's plays as veiled confessions: Romeo and Juliet as the parents' tale, Hamlet as the son's fury, The Tempest as the exiled king's word-magic. "The Hidden King: From Mary's Womb to Shakespeare's Quill" is gripping historical fiction in Conn Iggulden's vein-plausible heresy, forbidden love, and the quill rewriting the crown. What if the Bard was the greatest secret of all?

In the summer of 1925, all of Russia turns its eyes to the coronation of Alexei II, a dazzling spectacle meant to reaffirm the strength of the monarchy. But beneath the splendour, a sinister plot is brewing in the shadows-a conspiracy within the Ballet Russes, where Bolshevik sympathizers conspire to strike at the very heart of the empire. As the grand event draws near, more and more people seem determined to make the new reign a short one. While the empire stands on the edge of peril, Princess Natalia Paley becomes ensnared in a dangerous fascination with Serge Lifar, a brilliant but subversive dancer with ties to the conspiracy. What begins as admiration soon turns into something far more reckless-a betrayal that could not only cost Natalia her friendship with Alexei but put the entire monarchy at risk. Meanwhile, Vladimir and Tata struggle to make it to the altar as their love is tested by endless delays and the meddling of Tata's formidable mother, Countess Brassova. As tensions rise and secrets from the past come to light, they are forced to confront whether their relationship can survive the forces working against them. For Irina and Feodor, the weight of responsibility as Viceroys of the Caucasus has cast yet another shadow over their once-passionate marriage. Irina, struggling with the demands of motherhood and her new life, throws herself into an ambitious project to improve the lives of those under her care-an endeavour that will challenge her in ways she never expected.

She grapples with obedience and defiance. With faith and secrets. She is the daughter of a crusader who will go down in history... infamously. But what of her? What of her escape from him and the journey that follows? A journey that will take her to her father's foe. The most powerful warrior and conqueror the lands have seen in many years. The Sultan who grants victory. Salah ad-Din Yusuf ibn Ayyub. ~ Assalaamu Alaykum This is a story that will try to adhere to being as halal as possible for the sake of authenticity and accuracy with the pertinent characters and their actions according to the context of the era and the religion. But while I am religious and all three main Abrahamic religions are part of my faith (in a sense I am ecumenical with all 3) I am therefore non-denominational so I don't practice Islam or the others in complete adherence to all tenets and rituals. So as a writer with passion for certain eras and historical figures, I take liberty in writing stories about them, with no intention to offend these people or anyone else, and I can't promise every little detail will be accurate or always halal (maybe sometimes there is haram intentionally because of certain characters personalities). Keep this in mind before reading. Graphic content warning: strong language, and blood and violence only

In the year 2026, a U.S. Army National Guard unit conducting a routine training exercise near a Civil War battlefield is suddenly engulfed by a mysterious energy wave. When the dust settles, Captain Sarah Mitchell and her M1A1 Abrams tank crew find themselves stranded in the 1860s-right in the middle of a pivotal battle of the American Civil War. Disoriented and believing they are under attack by an unknown enemy, the crew unleashes the full firepower of their modern war machine upon the Confederate forces, turning the tide of battle in ways history was never meant to see. But as the smoke clears, Sarah and her crew must come to terms with the impossible: they are trapped in the past, with no way home and no clear understanding of what sent them there. After an uneasy introduction to Union forces, Sarah finds an unexpected ally in Emily Harper, a dedicated and compassionate battlefield nurse. As Sarah and her crew struggle to reconcile their duty as soldiers with the moral implications of altering history, she and Emily develop a deep bond-one that challenges Sarah's views on war, love, and fate itself. But their presence in the past has consequences. The Confederacy, desperate and bewildered by the arrival of the seemingly unstoppable Iron Ghost, seeks foreign aid and unconventional tactics to turn the tide once again. And as the Union begins to see Sarah's tank as a divine instrument of war, she must decide how far she is willing to go to protect those she has come to care for-even if it means permanently altering the course of history. With shifting alliances, unexpected betrayals, and a love story forged in the fires of war, The Iron Ghost is a gripping tale of time travel, romance, and the weight of destiny. When given the power to change history, does one have the right to? And if they do-can they ever return home?
