Please watch SNT Forces if you haven't because this fic is written under the assumption you have. Also it has some elements of SonicSong182's channel such as Gadget and Maria so if you watch the channel then you'll be extra good with knowing enough for the fic. It's not a requirement but it'll help make things make more sense. -------------------------- Ever since the events of SNT Forces, SNT and Rookie stayed in touch. She would visit his Dimension and they'd hang out. As time goes by something slowly starts to develop inside the two. They care about each other a lot more now. But being from another Dimension caused many problems and restrictions. One day a method is created that allows them go across their Dimensions safely and for a long time. The portal opened. He stepped in, pausing in awe at the beauty of the world. He grinned harder, his wrinkly face scrunching in excitement, his laugh chuckling low. And the Core appeared before him. In the shape of the girl he remembered, it stared at him with no eyes, its body made of swirling light of Volt. It stood before him, tense and staring. He lunged for it quick---but it ducked and ran---as fast as just a spirit. He let it go, after all, it would come on its own. He crouched down for a second, bringing a bag off his shoulder, and opening it. ---Crawling fast out of it as if it was a black hole--came millions of insects--the same as the one that had attacked Rine. They scurried along--some teleporting--others scurrying so fast they disappeared in the dark. The cries of creatures sounded from all along the path as he continued walking. As the insects gathered just enough Volt to not kill the creatures, they scurried back into the bag--disappearing as if through a portal. The Core appeared again, standing in his path, tense. He grinned and ignored it, continuing down the path. The Core disappeared. The old man found the burnt house, chuckling as he sped up his pace, walking down the hill and peering in. Finding no one except the casket, he laughed and cheered, rubbing his hands together before setting them on the lid of the casket. Shocking it hard--the lid burst into flames. He pushed it off as it withered and grinned at the corpse.
