Mara learns of her father's knowledge of alternate worlds at the same time Drave learns of the fairy's involvement with an energy manipulator. The Decuir siblings and Killian work together to stop Ireyna from a precarious endeavor. A bittersweet consequence results from a simple wish gone awry, though a father's love always remains, even in another universe.
