"Violet," Harry said like he was trying to convince himself not to panic. "Where did that letter to the school say the platform was?" "They said the entrance was between platforms nine and ten," said Violet. "Right," said Harry as if things could not go more wrong. "I think, we might earn ourselves a place in that 'Guinness World Records' book they had at primary school for the first ever people to lose an entire train platform." Violet, while she shared her cousin's panic, did not appreciate the sass. They were not the first people raised by Muggles to be accepted into Hogwarts, there must be some method to the madness, she just had to think. They had time, there was still at least twenty minutes until the train was due to leave. They could do this. "Maybe," Harry winced, "maybe we could ask someone?" "And what'll we ask them exactly Harry, excuse me, do you know about any trains going off to magic school?" ᓚᘏᗢ Mr and Mrs Dursley were quite happy to say that they were perfectly normal in every way. That was, until Mrs Dursley's sister and brother-in-law died and left their son, Harry Potter, to be raised by them. Nevertheless, they took the boy in and swore that they would make a normal person out of him yet, despite what his genetics may suggest. ᓚᘏᗢ Struggling to adhere to her parents' philosophy that woman must be seen and not heard, Violet Evans-Dursley is dreading being sent off to Finishing School for Girls. Eleven years old, and only slightly disillusioned by the way her family is turning out, Violet is all too surprised when she and her wretch of a cousin receive their first ever letters in the mail. The contents of which, just so happen to be summoning them to attend their first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Sceptical, Violet must leave behind all that she knows and venture forth into the wider (and possibly magical) world and make something of herself instead of letting others do it for her.

Shirley hadn't meant to stalk Lelouch when he went out with Rivalz that day. She just wanted to figure out just what made him keep endangering himself and finally find an angle where she could convince him to stop. She never could have imagined the horrors she would see at Shinjuku, the depths her countrymen would sink to, or the girl who offered them both a chance to do something about it. "The Power Of The Kings condemns you to a life of solitude." "But that's just it. We won't be alone." Peter Parker is a ghost. After the world forgot he existed, he ripped his two identities apart to survive. Spider-Man takes the hits and Peter stays hidden in a drafty, depressing attic apartment, completely alone. That is the plan, anyway. He is determined to keep everyone at arm's length to protect them from the curse of knowing him. Davina „Davie" Waverly is just trying to pass her exams, practice her magic in peace and ignore the heavy, restless footsteps of her reclusive upstairs neighbor. As a witch living in the heart of New York City, she already has enough on her plate, including two highly judgmental, telepathic cats. But when something goes wrong and Peter literally crashes onto the pavement outside her window, minding her own business is not an option. She has a secret she is trying to hide. He is carrying a world of grief he refuses to share. Neither of them was looking for a sanctuary, but between late-night patch-ups, shared laundry rooms and the undeniable pull of a warm apartment, keeping their distance is about to become the hardest fight of Peter's life. "A life for a life," He mumbled, voice barely audible. "My debt is repaid. Move out!" He called to the soldiers, not giving her another glance. Mulan, having been "spared" death by Shang, remained on the cold mountain, wearing nothing but bandages around her torso, thin pants that could barely protect her legs, and the blanket she was holding when Chi-Fu dragged her from the tent. Her wound reopened, bleeding profusely-Mulan didn't expect to survive much longer. Instead of death, she was found by the Hun army, the enemy. At first, she believes the blood loss caused confusion, hallucinations, a delirious mindset. That was until she woke up in their camp, fresh bandages and their leader staring from across the campfire. He gave her a choice, leave and spend the rest of her life in fear of him for killing his army, or stay, help him destroy the army that betrayed her, abandoned her and be promised a quick, painless death after. Mulan doesn't know why she chose to stay. Maybe she was still weak from her injury, maybe it's because she knew she could never outrun him, perhaps it was revenge, survival. Or it was because the so-called enemy treated her with more respect than her own country, the very men she saved the lives of.
