This story is an alternative plot (and the original plot) for Ninjago Generations that I ended up scrapping. All of the ninja's families are the same except for Lloyd's. Ryder is still his son, but his mother is Harumi, who survived the events of Hunted and tricked Lloyd into marrying her by pretending to change her ways. After their son was born, Harumi took the baby and tortured him until Lloyd came to his rescue. Now it's up to Lloyd to train Ryder to fight his mother, with the other ninja's kids as his protectors, can Ryder handle the responsibility?
