"The world has always been afraid of things that are different." The year is now 2092. The human mind has morphed into one which has learnt to use a higher percentage of brain capacity. The myth that humans only use 10% of their brain is true and society becomes terrified of those that have the ability to go beyond this. We're known as Shifters, and our abnormality is both our strength and our greatest downfall.

Jean had come to terms with her life a long time ago, but when her father became sick and made her leave to live with her mother in Washington, everything she had settled on had been kicked back up again. How was she supposed to get along with the women who once abandoned her for a new life? Jean had no plan to adjust to this new life, in a new town, with a new family. She thought she would make it back to her father in Canada soon enough. There wasn't a single thing in Seattle that would ever make her think about staying. And she was sure of that. All they know is that is was their mothers dieing wish for them not to leave home untill they are 16 and 17 but was begged not to. Their butler sabastian raised them and shops for them. They have never left their house on their island. They dont know what normal everyday people look like because of the internet parent locks. You'll follow the sixteen year old girl and her brother into reality maby they shouldent have left after all.. Did couriosity get the best of the cat? Or did the cat destroy the curious girl?
