Another shard reflected in the distance, the vibrant orange glittering in welcome. For days Analiese had been chasing the glint that forever seemed to be just out of her grasp. In return her family life has changed drastically, her father is constantly pressing for her to settle down while refusing to tell her what has happened to the former metropolis not even a mile away. In no way is she aloud near the citadel she is sure is the cause of everything. From the creature named Saber to the reason that a pair of brothers watch over the isolated town as if it's a prison. It was simple curiosity but this fairytale won't have a happy ending like everyone wishes. Everything that can go wrong will go wrong. It all started with a scale. It will end with bloodshed and broken souls. Bones and skin are for those weak of heart. The best way to destroy anyone is to take what they care for most and play with it. After all, everyone's heart is glass.
