Rosie the Little Purple Engine (isn't she pink tho-) was introduced in Season 10 of the Television Series and, like most engines introduced during this era of the show, Rosie didn't get much of a backstory.....and proceeded to not really get one......for the rest of the show. So, I wanted to rectify that, having said that, here is my take on Rosie's Backstory sticking to the Railway Series lore for most of it with a few callbacks to other stories of similar events.

It is November, 1847. Only one year after the canonical events of Frozen 2. Arendelle is a real Norwegian duchy under the Swedish-Norwegian union, and peace is a lie bought on borrowed time. When Honeymaren's desperate letter arrives, Anna learns that the elemental spirits have turned on Elsa. Ahtohallan and the Enchanted Forest are frozen solid, and even the Fifth Spirit can't calm them anymore. Elsa is being sent home to Anna not as a saviour, but as a problem no one else can solve. At the same time, a hooded stranger survives an unnatural storm at sea, steals the identity of a young recruit, and walks into Arendelle's Royal Guard under a new name. He is an Assassin with a hidden mission. White Ghost of Steel - Episode 1: Shattered Tides is a dark, slow-burn crossover where Frozen meets Assassin's Creed in a fully researched 1847 Europe: Templars as ruthless banking empires, draugr on the northern borders, conspiracies in candlelit council chambers, and magic treated like a dangerous geo-political weapon. It blends historical thriller, psychological fantasy and Assassin's Creed-style intrigue into one story about apocalyptic powers, impossible choices, and the question that haunts every character: how far will you go - and what will you become - to protect the person you refuse to lose?

The empire demanded their blood. They chose their home. In the blood-soaked mud of 1916, the British Empire demands a devastating price from its distant colonies. But when the call for more ANZAC reinforcements reaches the Pacific, the thread snaps. Instead of compliance, the streets of Melbourne and Wellington explode into violent, anti-imperial riots. In a coordinated political coup, radical nationalist governments seize power, severing ties with the British Crown to forge a defiant new alliance: the United Commonwealth of Australia and the Republic of Aotearoa. Furious at the betrayal, the Royal Navy seals the borders with a brutal blockade, plunging the young nations into an agonizing war of survival. Returning soldiers face a shattering choice: uphold their oaths to a distant King, or defend the rugged shores of a newly independent homeland. To survive, the breakaway republics must form unprecedented alliances with indigenous leaders, rewriting the future of their land and striking a dangerous bargain with the Empire's enemies. From the desperate trenches of the Siege of Auckland to the clandestine nuclear labs of the Australian desert and the vibrant, decolonized cultural renaissance of the 1990s, the story charts an alternate century of defiance. Armed with an independent spirit, a proprietary digital frontier, and a nuclear deterrent, two nations stand completely unbowed-forever detached from the Crown, guarding the gateway to the Southern Hemisphere.

What if the global revolution didn't ignite in Petrograd, but in the ports and coal mines of the Pacific? This sweeping, deeply detailed alternate history re-imagines the 20th century through the lens of a radical socialist superpower in the Southern Hemisphere. Spanning nearly a century, the chronicle begins in the depths of World War I, where a clandestine communication network known as the "Red Wire" sparks a synchronized worker uprising across Australia and New Zealand. Bypassing colonial wartime censorship, the newly forged Australasian Socialist Federation (ASF) successfully throws off the British Imperial yoke, breaking royal blockades and repelling a bloody Pacific Civil War. From the defense of Botany Bay to a fierce "Great Patriotic War" against Imperial Japanese invaders, the ASF survives through sheer solidarity and innovative, localized warfare. In peacetime, the Federation emerges as a global beacon of democratic syndicalism. Resilient against the Wall Street Crash of 1929, defiant during the Cold War's Tasman Missile Crisis, and untouched by the collapse of the Soviet Bloc, the ASF pioneers an insulated, eco-conscious economy driven by labor credits, green energy, and a revolutionary real-time digital democracy. Rich in geopolitical intrigue, technological divergence, and military strategy, this timeline offers a captivating blueprint of a world where corporate capitalism failed to conquer the globe, and the working class built a high-tech, zero-emission sanctuary in the South Pacific.

In the shadowy underworld of an immortal Roman Empire, something sinister has been developed - something that could remove an immortal's right to death. Aquila, an ancient reaper tasked with guiding expired immortals through a peaceful fade, has been assigned one final task before his own long awaited fading - to investigate and resolve the lingering attachments of a group of humans who have lived far too long. Expecting an easy task, he instead finds a technology so powerful it could shake up the order of the eternal world, and someone who could rekindle his numbed humanity and teach him how to love. Please note that this is a first draft, so I will be reworking the pacing and such. I would appreciate any comments on improvements! :) Human written. No AI :) This book is FREE. What if Germany won World War 1? And what if World War 2 was right around the corner? Reginald Spenser has made the best of a bad situation. Forced to flee his beloved home in England after a socialist revolution, he's managed to establish himself in "the new world" despite its rabble-rousing locals, bilingual servants, and - of course - its weather. Now comfortably living in Montreal, he can turn his attention to the great task of reclaiming his homeland and restoring order to the world. Even though he's just one man in a room, he can see the future of the entire world laid out before him, and he knows he can guide that future like so many great men before him. All it takes is a little help. And good help, he's finding out, is hard to find.

The first chapter: read the rest on Kindle now. For thousands of years, it was the Anchor's responsibility to protect the Earth with his divine power. Every boy, turned man, was blessed with this divinity by his predecessor, and moulded into the perfect leader aided by his Order of Ouroboros. He was infallible; there had been not one question in five-thousand years of the legitimacy of his leadership. The world blossomed under his influence - as far as Thomas' eye could see. 800 AD. Amidst Maya civilisation, a small commune of outsiders exists by decree of an all-powerful alchemist. For Thomas, the alchemist is a deity to be worshipped. No price is too high to deny him. For Sumaya, the alchemist may be of all-power, but it is a curse. A curse which sets its eye upon them...

While the material world rejoices at the end of the Cold War, in another timeline, a red bear, a stronger, more fearsome red bear, confidently sets its gaze upon the East. After emerging victorious in Afghanistan, a Soviet Union more powerful than ever strikes Hokkaido under the banner of liberation - Climb Mount Narodnaya. At the dawn of the Heisei era, this is Japan's nightmare made flesh. The Type 90 tanks they pride themselves on seem so fragile and insignificant beneath the wall of steel that is the T-80U horde. Their finest fighters, the F-15Js, are eagles with wings snapped, helpless against Flankers that darken the sky. This is a story about the collapse of Japan.

Alicia Braxton is a young woman living in the year 2252 in the Kingdom of Eurwest which encompasses Britain, Scotland, and a land mass in the North Sea roughly the size of southern England. It's a country that has rejected the ideals before some great cataclysm, yet people live fine with modern luxuries. There are planes, trains, automobiles, and towering skyscrapers. Drones litter the landscape, and 3-D printing can even be used to make textiles. Yet, humanity has not reached immortality, and after suffering a traumatic head injury in the capital of Eurwest, Port Nandels- Alicia must move in with her sister and backwards and overprotective husband- yet not is all what it seems, as Alicia is forced to confinement in her room, is forced to wear a smock day in and day out, and is rarely visited by her own family. Thus, it surprises her even more when a minister from the federal government wishes to sit down to simply destroy the fabric of her reality; as not everything for Alicia Braxton is what it seems, even down to the simplest of objects. Disclaimer: This is a dystopic novel inspired by dystopic novels and "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman (1892), although it is simply my interpretation and understanding of the books I have read that allows me to write this, although it is an entirely original story and is protected under fair use.

Have you ever wondered what makes a perfect military system? What happens when efficiency is pursued not just as a goal, but as an art form? What if the greatest horrors of war came not from hatred or cruelty, but from pure, practical logic? This historically-grounded reimagining of the "The Saga of Tanya the Evil" series strips away magic to expose something far more terrifying: human ingenuity pushed to its absolute limits. Through the lens of multiple characters caught in the machinery of War, we witness the emergence of a new kind of warfare - one where every action, every casualty, even every act of mercy serves a carefully calculated purpose. As Allied forces struggle to maintain their foothold in occupied Europe, they find themselves facing not just German resistance, but a system that turns their very humanity against them. At its heart, "The Machinery of Necessity" asks what price we pay for perfect efficiency. Where is the line between optimization and obsession? Between necessity and horror? Between genius and madness? A meditation on war, systematic thinking, and the cost of progress, this first volume examines what happens when we optimize a process past the point of humanity - and what remains of us when efficiency becomes its own kind of weapon. Welcome to a world where the greatest threats aren't the monsters we fear, but the systems we create.
