Deep drawing is a wonderful process where a sheet metal blank is radially drawn into a forming die cavity by the mechanical action of a punch. This results in a "deep" shape, e.g., a cylinder. Our experts at JCL ensure that your brass deep drawing components will stand the test of time as they are made with high-quality brass with tenacious strength.
We work with integrity and skilled engineers, as well as state-of-the-art technology, to ensure you receive the best quality from us.
ABOUT DEEP DRAWING BRASS
Brass is made of two metals: copper and zinc. The proportions of zinc and copper required depend on the color that needs to be achieved, though copper is always used more in terms of proportion, generally around 66%. The inclusion of more copper over zinc results in softer brass with a gold-like appearance. Meanwhile, using more zinc leads to a silvery appearance and a harder brass.
Brass sometimes also includes other elements, such as lead and aluminum, though in very small amounts.
