In the twilight of their careers, and desperate to extend them however possible, the Chipmunks and Chipettes reluctantly agree to a deal with NASA to man a mission to the planet Mars. What they hope for is an increase in popularity; a reason for people to cheer for them again. There is no way for any of them to predict the complications, lies, secrets, and threats that they will encounter before they can safely return home. In order to find themselves on the other side of this ordeal with their lives, they will need to tap into every ounce of brains, brawn, and hope that they can conjure. The (1988) Alvin and the Chipmunks episode Novelization: The Brunch Club. (Based on the movie "The Breakfast Club") The Chipmunks and Chipettes were having a normal day at school, when suddenly, the school statue of Thomas Edison was knocked over and shattered! The principal is determined that one of the six chipmunks were guilty of committing this act, and decides to send them all to detention until someone confesses. Once the group realizes that it is not going to be easy to have someone admit their wrongs, Alvin, Simon, Theodore, Brittany, Jeanette, and Eleanor assemble a small court in the library where detention is being held. Taking turns, they take the spots of the judge, jury, witnesses, and lawyers to solve the mystery. Can Alvin and the gang get enough evidence and answers to find the culprit? It could be any one of the Chipmunks or Chipettes, or it could be someone completely out of the picture. Will Brittany and Eleanor get out of detention in time for their audition, will Alvin be able to learn how to cook Dave's favorite meal? Can Simon finish his art project in time, and will Theodore need more than a steam bath to loose weight? All these answers will be revealed in the most well known 'Who Dunnit' Chipmunk's story! Jeanette flinched. "If you won't, everything could be worse!" Alvin convinced, trying to guilt-trip Jeanette. "Anything could happen, you could lose everything." Jeanette's tears started to come out slowly, and Alvin checked the monitor. "Jeanette, tell me what you saw back there." ___ It's the year where everything changed. Everything, everything. Brittany has a dream about her favorite romantic detective show, and her sisters and the chipmunks take the spots of the characters! David Alvinson (Alvin), private investigator, works hard to solve a mystery with his client Ms. Snoop (Eleanor) The secretary of the detective agency, Ms. Da Pest (Jeanette) is along for the ride, but willing to help from her post at the agency. Meanwhile, Alvinson's love interest, and ex-co-worker Bratty Hayes (Brittany) becomes a perfume spokesperson for the company Snoop works for. Bratty may have interest in the charming, classy president of the company, Simon Le Simon (Simon), which might cause a twisted triangular problem with Alvinson. Snoop and Alvinson think there is something going on with Le Simon, but they are yet to find out. Is Bratty in danger by being coupled with Le Simon? Or can Alvinson save Bratty before it's too late? When Brittany finds out about an all new contest for new styles she knows she has to win! Little does she know that, that is a huge mistake, cause someone is out to get her and they will take her everything!

After a falling out with her sister, Brittany leaves for a trip to her hometown in LA to visit her adoptive mother. To prove her sister wrong she vows to spend the summer boy-free. However during her trip, all she gets herself into is boy trouble and mom trouble. Her perfect summer vacation is turning out to be one big mess.
