Basically the akuma class goes to Gotham for a school trip theres new budding romance as well as broken hearts. Thanks to the fact that they're away from hawkmoth and his area of akumatizations they are able to vent healthily. Lila and Alya salt please read!

4 years after Lila threatens Marinette, what she says comes true. The class turns on Marinette, and bullies her because she "bullies" Lila. Adrien is no help since he told her to take the highroad. She now only has Chloe, Kagami and Luka. But a transfer student from America comes, and when she catches onto Lila's lie, she decides to help Marinette reveal her lies. Just who is this new girl, and why is she so willing to take down this LYING SNAKE?

Marinette doesn't know what to do now. Lila kept true to her promise, to turn everyone against Marinette. Marinette never felt more betrayed and hurt. Only having a few friends who she now considers family on her side. But, it's better than nothing.. right? Drenched in rain Marinette makes a call to one of the people who can comfort her....Luka. When Luka hears Marinettes voice broken and hoarse he takes matters into in his own hands to help his melody. Will Marinette feel the love she desperately wants? Marinette used to spend every summer working with her Uncle at the circus, now the same circus has come to Paris. Lila is telling lies about a certain performer and with the class going on a special trip to the same circus, this could be the end of Lila's reign of lies in the school.

Originally crossposted from archive of our own - marinette is a girl who's trying to escape her tumultuous past, and as she attends her new school she meets four other seemingly harmless-looking outcasts whom she manages to form a friendship with. It took time to win over the leader of the coven however but all was ultimately fine. Little did marinette know however, with new friends by her side things were actually set to get much worse for her down the road.
