This is a short story inspired by a writing concept given to me in my literature class. I am well over my emo phase (hahaha...haha...ha), but I've always wanted to write a fanfic of some sort. Keep in mind, that this was an assignment and so no smut or that many cute moments happen here. You should totally just read this.

A drunken party can bring good memories, but when your best friend disappears out of no where that night, and you remember nothing, your luck isn't so high anymore. When my whole world turns upside down through missing people and blackmail I make my way to London, the one place my best friend had always wanted to go, but knocking on doors will bring more to the table than I could ever handle.

Michael Christopher Fuentes has been a marine biologist for a few years now, working on a reserve on the East coast of San Diego. Summer has began, and the expected flock of interns make their way in for the three month insight of the daily procedures. Amongst them is Tony Perry, an outgoing, rather sportive guy with an undying love for sea turtles. The implicit attraction between them is gradual, and when it is expressed, Michael is faced with a decision he never planned on making: passion for profession? Or loyalty to love?
