On May 16, 2148, over 143 years since the Resonance Cascade, exactly, Explorers discovered the remains of an Ancient Civilization on Mars. Since the Black Mesa Incident and Seven Hour War, the Combine became the undisputed masters of Earth and the remnants of Humanity lived in fear within dystopian cityscapes. The few who live beyond the borders of the decaying cities are the Resistance, a small, almost harmless group to the War Machine of the Combine. That is all set to change, as new variables come to assist mankind

The Combine have taken over the world, Humanity is on the brink of extinction, and the personifications have been captured and held captive by the alien race. The only one who remains is Alfred F. Jones. America. Who has somehow managed to evade the combine pretty well so far. The resistance is dwindling, the will to fight all but gone. But, just as all hope seems to be lost. A long lost legend, a hero, twenty years late to the party, has returned to liberate the remaining people of earth. Armed with nothing but a crowbar and a pesky additude, Gordon Freeman must fight his way through hell all over again. This time, however, he has a bit of company. As man, looking no older than twenty, decides to aid him in his destiny. Gordon Freeman is the hero this world needs. The one who will save the day. Alfred just hopes it isn't to late.

The war was won, but the Earth lay in ruins. Nothing can restore our planet back to it's beautiful self, except for one dangerous solution. The only way to save the human race is to prevent the very calamity that started it all: the Resonance Cascade. To do that, Dr. Kleiner has created a time machine to send someone 20 years back and keep history from repeating itself, but this time, Gordon won't be the one to take this perilous task... Half Life 2 and all it's episodes and some characters belong to Valve, and the images used are from public sources. This is only a telling of what would happen after Half Life 3( if it ever comes out:/)
