CallMeMrsSparrow
In the village she once called home, people know better than to ignore the sound of a drum after dark.
After five years away, Noziphozamandla returns to the Eastern Cape hoping to bury the past. Instead, she finds a home that feels different, as though it has been waiting for her. Strange dreams become a nightly ritual, children sing where no children can be found, shadows linger a little too long, and something unseen follows her every step.
As the line between the living and the spirit world begins to blur, Noziphozamandla discovers that her family's history is tied to ancient gifts, whispered warnings, and truths that were never meant to leave the riverbanks. The drums are calling her by name, and this time, they expect an answer.
