Viridian Amaranth is a 16 year old girl in district 4 who lives with her mother and 2 sisters. Her friend, Annie Cresta is who she spends most of her time with. While Viridian's out hunting and finding food, Annie's always with her 'I'm just keeping an eye on you' she says. People thinks district 4 is like the other career districts. 'Rich'. Well it's not. It's not poor. And it's not rich. It's somewhat in the middle. Some people have more. Some people have less. Families have pay for their children to be trained for the games. But it'll never have the advantage like district 2. For how the world has changed and how people have been brought up this is normal to the district. Until she's chosen. - Hello! This story is a hunger games fanfic. If you don't know what the hunger games is or have never watched the films or read the books you'll most likely find this hard to follow. So I suggest if your reading this you've watched the films or read the books. I won't go into the books too much because I know most haven't read the books and that's not fair on them. Another thing I would like to say is that since Suzanne Collins didn't mention much about district 4 please don't be mad at me by I've made up. Ill be making things up about district 4 since we don't know much about it. So please don't be mad at me this is my story and I can do what I want with my books so please respect that. As time would go on the witch got sick and couldn't cure herself. She picked out four young apprentices and gave them each a portion of her power. She died not long after. The four kept the city safe, but one night Amaranth was ambushed by outsiders. The amaranth was stolen and the barrier dissolved. The outsiders killed everyone in Amaranth, including the apprentices, but one managed to escape. As time passed by their descendants lived separate lives not knowing they were special. Will Amaranth be restored to its former greatness or will its dictator, continue with his reign of terror?

Come, let me take you on a little journey. To a place long forgotten, far from all civilisation. Untouched and untamed, mysterious and ancient. In a place formerly saved by the Mockingjay, the horrendous Capitol took control again and added two more districts. This year marks the millennium of the Hunger Games. When Amaranth Olivier volunteers for her ten year old sister, Belladonna, people see a spark in her. She knows, with 120 people in the games, she won't make it. Soon she meets people, allies, that soon becomes more like family than allies. As an accidental contender, she must chose:her love, her family or her life.

Ever since our childhood, we've heard tales of princes and princesses. Stories of dragons and ferocious beasts. We've heard of true love. Indeed we've heard of how princes saved princesses. Sometimes many of us wanted to be a prince or a princess. But this isn't the average fairytale. There are princes and there is a princess. The princess's name was Rapunzel. Even the toughest guy will know something about Rapunzel. "Oh yeah. Isn't she that one princess dude?" Yes. "Wasn't she locked in a tower of some sort?" Yes. "Wasn't it because that witch person disliked her?" No. What? You see, that wasn't true. There was no witch and there was no long hair. There was a tower though. A tower that Rapunzel locked herself in. Uh-huh. Wait...WHAT! Let me say it one more time. Rapunzel locked herself in a tower. Woah... This is a tale of a princess and her prince, more importantly, this story is about love. It's also about how a princess can be rescued from the tower of a mind. But, how do you save a princess who doesn't want to be saved?
