In which Mahishmati's soon to be King, Amarendra Baahubali finds himself in love with Kuntala Kingdom's Princess Devasena. How will the two become one? The Princes of Mahishmati, Amarendra Baahubali, Bhallaladeva and their small troop accidentally stumble upon a mystic key that teleports them to an unknown realm and dimension of time in future. They find themselves embroiled in a bitter conflict with an evil slave trader. They have to play a deadly game and win in order to free hundreds of slaves. The price they have to pay for losing is death. Will they succeed in this battle of life and death? ************************ "Free those slaves from captivity", Amarendra Baahubali thundered. "They are also human beings like you and me. They deserve to be free", replied the noble younger Prince of Mahishmati. "Alright. Play the game of Puli-Meka with my men....BUT WITH LIVE PAWNS", the slave trader throwing a literally impossible challenge. ************************* Note:This entry is a fanfiction story written within 500 words for the #BaahubaliTLL contest. The game mentioned in this story Puli-Meka Atta (Telugu) or Aadu-Puli Aattam (Tamil) is an ancient Indian board game where three tigers are pitted against fifteen goats. The side representing the goats has to take care to protect its goats while maneuvering the three tigers into positions from which they cannot move. The side representing the tigers can make its tiger jump over squares while killing any goat placed in between. Once a certain number of goats of the other side have been killed, it becomes difficult to rein in the tigers.
