Alex is a 14 year old girl, moving into a small town known as Amarok town, with her father Daniel Wilson also known as Dan. An old local legend, about a giant wolf known as an 'Amarok', said to stalk and devour any person foolish enough to hunt alone at night. Unlike wolves who hunt in packs, amaroks hunt alone. The old towns legend of the 'Amarok' said to, of hunted down many townspeople and killed them. Keep many of the towns dwellers, to this day hunting down and murdering wolves that roam the wilderness, surrounding the town.

inspired by the short-lived animal planet documentary series of the same name, comes my concept for an animated series of Animal X: Natural Mystery Unit. filled with action, adventure, mystery, suspense, intrigue, and Cryptids a plenty. There are stranger things in heaven and earth, and you're about to see many of them on ANIMAL X.

One clan ? Destroyed. All kinds ? Most of them gone. They form one team now. And the exact same goal : Surviving the shit out of it. -------------------------------------------------------------- "Run and cry Ulva." You can cry later, oh God, you can cry now but you have to keep running, if you stop, you're dead like Granny Red loyals but long gone foxes. It is really that simple. I reminded myself.

There have been whispers. There have been rumours. There have been speculations. But are these theories true? No one knows for sure. It's merely a legend, a myth. But what if it's not? In a small village, surrounded by a dense forest in Alaska, the villagers are enjoying which seems to be a normal night. That is until a strange cry rippled over the village in shockwaves. It was no ordinary cry. No. It was a high pitched cry that sent shivers down their spines. An animal in distress. But not a small animal. A big one; one that can rip you to shreds if approached. The people have heard of a giant animal roaming the place centuries ago. It was said to be a wolf; a giant wolf. But it is just a myth, a legend to scare the children from misbehaving. But was it really just some mythical wolf that towered over all the animals and had razor sharp canines that could tear your flesh like paper? Or does it exist among the other wildlife in the forest but has yet to be discovered? They call it the "amarok". "An amarok is a gigantic wolf in Inuit mythology, said to stalk and devour any person foolish enough to hunt alone at night. Unlike real wolves who hunt in packs, amaroks hunt alone."

Whats the difference between legends and reality? well, it's not hard. Legends aren't real, at least, that's what we thought. In the same era that my twin sister and I turned into adults was the same era that the Fallen tribe decided to make their first move in centuries. We learn that me and my twin are some how connected to the legend of the Sun, Moon, and Ice wolves, so we decided that we must venture where no other wolf has gone or come back from. Maybe if we find out where these legends disappeared to, me and my sister will understand our powers that we have. A large mythical wolf that preys on those who hunt alone. In this story, a small boy decides to challenge the Amarok in his domain, the Wapheton Forest. In the following chapters I included the original poem that inspired this incredible tale. This is a short story and poem duo that I wrote for my creative writing class.

The story's in this book will have the same character from my other books, but not the same stories. This will have them meeting different, acting different, and the will be there same in some ways but not all was.

"Oh, my beautiful daughter, finally of age to take over the legacy of the true rulers." I let out a small growl, the Luna pinching my hand and I clawed hers back drawing blood. "Come up here, my love." I fake a smile as I walked the stage, I stand beside the beast as he rested his hand on my back. Lowering his head to my ears and covered from cameras. "Remember our deal, break it and you will lose everything. Got it?" He pulls away before pecking my cheek with a kiss. I wait till his body was just a foot away before I let the true show begin. There was a lashing, a crack that ripped the air before the gown was ripped to nothing but decent. "To hell with these lies, today you all will know me. Today you all will know who to truly fear, who to trust. Today Leta Adsila dies." I smile wickedly before there was a scream, pure fear. "Starting with you, Beast."
