This book is about a 15 year old girl named, Amaryllis, running away from her family. As she's out in the wild she has multiple challenges to face and beat. It's the beginning of December, Amaryllis and her family are out on a vacation during winter break. They drove all the way to a cabin in the middle of the woods to have family bonding time. Amaryllis didn't really appreciate her family and she claims that her family has never liked her or showed her big amounts of affection. The second day on vacation at the cabin, Chaos broke out, and the girl had enough of her families nonsense. She shoved some of her things in a school-sized backpack and went on her way. The first challenge she had run into, had to force her to run for her life.
