I'm am an EXTREMELY novice writer, I've never been good at writing and making it sound good. But I've had ideas for these characters in my head for about 30 years. I have created the world setting with names and places, a timeline, a calendar and date system, and a fairly extensive character background for all of my main characters. I have fed about 10,000 words (as of the first couple sections) into ChatGPT and had it take my ideas for this story and make them flow and sound better. I have spent a good deal of time training ChatGPT of the canon elements of my story so that it doesn't mess anything up and I've adjusted and tweaked everything that it has created. Did you know that the term "amateur" literally means to do something for the love of it? Well, that's the perfect word to describe me-at least, when it comes to writing. I love to write, but the only training I have received comes from my hours of writing for my AP English classes, meaning that I am not really qualified in any way to teach people how to write a book. However, I've been told that my writing skills are far greater than that of a beginner (which I just think is a load of bologna), but I've been convinced to put everything I know into a small book to help other writers begin their journey to authorhood. I'm going to try to keep everything short so that it's easy to reference, and I'll do my best to make everything as accurate as possible. But remember, I am only just an amateur... (I will be updating periodically with more tips and tricks to be a better writer, so stay tuned!)
