i don't even know why i let myself get down in the first place

This is a collection of poetry I have written. I really hope you enjoy it! With each poem, I will post a photo of my own that I think best fits with the poem I have written. I will also write a description below it if I have one. If I don't have a description for one, I will put "self interpret." (If you do interpret one I'd love to know what you got out of it!) Or I may write my description and put "self interpret." I moved this book from my first account.

I invite the greatest pretender. Woman who are strongest in her circle, who never put down her smiles in crowd, who forgive without asked, whose tears only spill on her own pillow and whose mask of positivity put down every night before bed start to sings pity songs.

According to my research (a 10 second google search about the meaning of the song 12 days of Christmas), the song is 12 days because that is apparently the amount of time it took for the 3 wise to go from where they were to meet Jesus. So I made this. This is an anthology of poems that I created for the holiday season for the year 2023. I hope that you enjoy it.
