Dan Howell is an unemployed musician looking for a job. He walks into a pub one night after a long day of job hunting and spies a piano in the corner with a "pianist needed" sign on it. He turns to the bartender to ask about the position but is stunned speechless by the beautiful person he sees.

One day, Dan wakes up in the wrong room, wrong clothes, and wrong.. body? Somehow, the spirits of both Dan and Phil have switched places. They don't know how, or why, but they're determined to figure it out whilst living out their day to day lives as Dan and Phil.. or, Phil and Dan. While doing so, they learn things about each other that they never expected to be true; their friendship grows stronger, until they realize that they're hardly even just friends anymore...
