You met Dan in College and became close friends, even dropped out at the same time as him because of overwhelming stress, and your Depression and Anxiety. Your parents won't take you back in because they're abusive and always have been, so you have no where to go. That is until Dan saves you and takes you in. At his place you met Phil and instantly there's something about him that makes you fall in love. Phil and you bond immediately and he promises to help you through your depression and other problems, no matter how hard it may be.

When Dan's parents decide that they have had enough of their sons fruitless search for a Queen they set him up with the dreaded countess of Perinia. In a desperate bid to escape the life he is destined to face, Dan leaves in search of someone to marry. During his travels however the young prince comes across a certain raven haired florist who seems more than he appears to be.

It's the time where Prince Philip needs to find a princess to share the thrown with. Except he isn't interested in any of the princesses. Over time he becomes more interested in a sassy servant instead.

Dan hates school. He doesn't hate education, just the homework, the classes, and the teachers. But there's one teacher that he definitely likes, Mr. Lester. Now Dan loves going to school, especially for the tutoring.

As Dan and Phil make it back from their honeymoon, they are greeted with mixed emotions. Waverly wonders more about her birth parents, her true friends and her new friends.
