Do you love the smell of damp sand when it rains? Does the fogged up window of your bedroom excite you? Or does the sound of the thunder cracking in the dark sky cause you anxiety? Does your heart fill with dread when it storms? Over the years Zaynah was forced to accustom rain with bad luck. Was the present day going to bring any change of perception, or will it yet again cause her pain? ---

''You are a nuisance and a liar and a dunce and a...'' the next moment he covered her mouth with his palm and gestured with his finger to keep quiet. After a while he whispered ''Why don't you simply admit your love for me instead of screaming at the top of your voice?" She glared at him and he let go of her face. ''I DON'T LOVE YOU", she said angrily. ''Liars, liars everywhere; Not a single one to believe'', he sighed while revolving the gun in his hands. Minha Waleed, a small creature with big dreams. She has planned all her life impeccably and beautifully. But one day, she realizes that Allah has different plans for her. From the streets of Islamabad to the New Forests of Hampshire, her life is as unexpected as the fate of an orphan. Doubt unwinds how humans can create personas to fit into society and forget to love themselves. The story moves around two people and the choices they question, which were made for them. Best friends stuck with insecurities, but will stand by each other in any circumstances. One has mother issues, whereas the other only has a mother to live for. Not your regular north and south, but definitely not your ice-cream and waffle. One will crack jokes at the most random of times, and the other will not even laugh, but both are suckers for biryani. One might suck at Urdu, and the other only freaks out in it, but both care about one person. One is born in Pakistan, and the other is born in America, but both are Pakistani. One is over-excited, and the other is calm as the wind, but both are socially damaged. One is a creative bird, and the other is the virtual freak, but both hate biology. One is head over heels for Pakistani music, and the other doesn't even understand half the lyrics, but both love Sajjad Ali. One is naïve, whereas the other is silly, but both are mature at the right moment. One reads the ingredients of everything while the other makes his own, but, again, both are Halal oddities in a Haram world. She was Ezzah Mahir, and this her journal. Meanwhile, Waleed never thought his life would take an unexpected sharp turn after the unwelcomed girl barges in without a warning 'BEWARE'. A complicated love story involving three hearts. Let's begin the journey to find out whether they make the right decisions or miserably fail to fight through the misunderstandings ending up with broken hearts in an uncompromising love.
