Pineneedle, Willowbranch, Maplespots and Amberleaf are the leader's kits. Naturally, a lot is put on their shoulders because of this, especially Pineneedle. This might not be too much of a problem if she were training as a warrior, but she was training as a medicine cat. When she reveals she doesn't believe in StarClan, cats around her believe her to be invalid as a medicine cat. She is diverted to warrior training, and it fills her with rage that the cats around her won't let her chase her destiny as a medicine cat because of her beliefs.
