The door creaked open, and there he stood - Arjun Maheshwari, a silhouette framed by the doorway. His eyes, once the sunflowers that captivated Maham's gaze, now held a different story. "Arjun, you're back sooner than expected," Maham remarked, her eyes betraying a mixture of surprise and curiosity. Arjun, meeting her gaze, carried the weight of unspoken words. "There have been developments," he replied cryptically, his eyes revealing a turbulence within. His gaze fixated on Maham, seemed to be wrestling with a revelation. The premature return hinted at an undercurrent of tension, a deviation from the anticipated timeline that set the stage for a fresh wave of challenges and discoveries. In those initial moments of reunion, neither Arjun nor Maham ventured into the tempest of conversation.As the hours passed, the room became a silent arena where glances spoke volumes and the air crackled with unspoken tensions. "I found something, Maham," Arjun finally broke the silence, his voice tinged with a mixture of pain and urgency. Maham, pausing in her actions, looked at him with a furrowed brow. "Found something? What do you mean?" Arjun hesitated, as if grappling with the weight of the truth he was about to unveil. "Proof," he said tersely. "Proof that indicates your involvement, Maham, in something much more sinister." Maham's eyes widened in disbelief, her heart pounding in her chest. "What are you talking about, Arjun? We've spent months together. You know me!" "The truth has a way of revealing itself, Maham. It hurts, but I can't ignore what I've found" said Arjun. He came forward to her and caressed her cheeks feeling her sweet breath on his lips then he moved backward the tender moment, however, took an unexpected turn as Arjun's hand, which had moments ago caressed her, now delivered a resounding *SLAP*. Stunned, she looked at Arjun, his eyes now devoid of the warmth she once knew.

Ambivalence (noun) One word. Four syllables. One meaning. A state of having simultaneous conflicting relations, beliefs or feelings towards someone of something. Madeline returns to her hometown after years trying to escape it, but not for reasons she wanted. She is left heartbroken after recent events and finds comfort in a strange scenario, created by her grieving mind. That is until an optimistic boy enters her life, promising he can take away her pain.

Averie owns her own bakery in London. She has aquaphobia (i.e., scared of large water bodies). She always had a fear of water due to a dark hidden secret from her past which she still gets nightmares about ,even after being an adult. August and Kian are too related to Averie's past and had disappeared from her life after her moms death. Now, August and Kian both have returned to London as full grown ups. What will happen when all of them meet each other? Will Averie be able to forget the past she hates the most, after seeing them in their adulthood or will there be an ambivalence created?.. or will Averie's childhood incidents repeat again with a new twist?... Lexi being Averie's everything (i.e., her family, sister, mother, best friend, roommate,.. ), will help her from her unforgettable past or she herself exposes her own past secrets? and will Lexi's secrets be helpful to Averie or make it even more complicated? __________________________________ Kian: I could have let you go , if you would have agreed with the deal I asked you for. But looks like you do not care about your life, so why do I ?! While clutching her hard from her arms towards her chest Averie: Please try to understand that I love someone else. And that i cannot agree to the deal. My love must be waiting for me, I need to go to him. Please i beg you to leave me. She said in a pleading and crying tone. Kian: The blue waters are waiting for you, babe! he said while clutching her arms even harder and in a roughest way possible on the railings the London bridge. He was scaring her out for a deal. But what is the deal? is it related to her past? I hope that you will like the plot. Do enjoy! :)

Then, that's when I remember what It was like before her. I was nothing; I was nonexistent in the most existing way possible.

My own thoughts about different topics through poetry and prose

Went away at 23, hoped to be married by 25. Things got out of hand, changes has to be done. Join the unravellings of life's events through the good and the bad. The realizations and self discoveries about one's self while learning how to balance amidst the test and rewards that is of life.
