When Jace Corso meets Minerva Watson-Mina for short-she is a force to be reckoned with. He's pedantic, shy and overly concerned with schedules and creating havoc. Sarcastic, witty and elusive, Mina is thrust into writing a blog for the Coqueville Voice at her new high school about the very subject she hates most. Christmas. They clash with the best of intentions. but try as he might Jace cannot seem to get past Mina's deflective humor hiding all things painful concerning her dad's death. Buried beneath sarcastic witticisms, Mina is having a hard digging herself out of the solitary hole she has pit herself in. To be fair, she pushes everyone away including Jace. It is only when she finds a journal from her Dad that the walls she built around herself start to Crack.
