After World War One, Canada finds himself stuck in a situation that nobody else realizes is happening until it's too late. When he wakes up after being stuck in a comatose state for one hundred years with a severe case of amnesia, it's up to America to help his twin brother both get into the swing of being a Nation, let alone one of the 21st century, and help him regain memories of who he formerly was and currently is. To make matters worse, a plot against the North American duo begins coming to light right as things start settling down, bringing in old enemy and friend alike that they had both thought to be gone. Hello wonderful readers! This is my first story up on this site and i hope you enjoy it!This is an AU during the 1950s civil rights era. Alfred F. Jones, southern gentleman and ready to start college up in the city that never sleeps. Accompanying his uncle to live with him in a flat, he has it pretty good. Going to get a part time job, get through college and, maybe, a little romance. But these are dangerous times to live in. As the African American community starts to demand the rights they deserve, many are taking matters into their own hands. The civil right movement is not only the pursuit of rights that people of all races should have equally, but the right to love who you want to love. Sadly, the public doesn't know of certain people who are afraid to love. He stumbles into a cafe as he revels in his mind about everything. That is until he hears the soft and low sound of a cello player. Matthew Williams, following his dream to be a musician, works in his brother's small french cafe. Playing his cello with the rest of the hired band members, his eye catches a stranger walk in and sit down. He was certainly not a regular or one of the old couples that came in. He seems interesting, maybe he should talk to him, buy him a coffee. He has really nice eyes, sky blue eyes. Maybe later.

Matthew Williams had been like this for awhile. Sad, to put it into simpler terms. He felt invisible, unwanted, and irrelevant. Then there was Alfred. Alfred who was always the center of attention, who had always tried to make everyone laugh and smile. Alfred who had been for the most part, pushing Matthew away. But that had all changed after he opened up and finally paid attention. ( This story focuses on the building relationship of Matthew Williams -Canada- and Alfred Jones -America-. )

For example; New York and Nova Scotia end up getting drunk, budding a romance filled with Scary Stories and ketchup chips. Will their relationship last, or were they just not meant to be?

Late one night Canada was walking home. After he got a call,and was mistaken for his brother once again, he looked up to the stars and seen a shooting star. He wished for something he always dreamed of. To be like America,his older brother. To be noticed and be the popular one. To have that one special person in his life. He wants to be the world's superpower with tons friends.... Hasn't anyone told you sometimes wishes come true? Be careful what you happen to wish for. It might just come back to haunt you.....or some you love ((AmeCan! Brotherly love and friendship fluff mostly, nothing to weird. Very slight mentions of an Ame ship....not what the story focuses on though. Canada may receive another ship near the end too. Up to you guys)

A letter from Matthew to Alfred.

Canada isn't one for liking meetings, especially if his obnoxious brother was talking. Until, America noticed the Canadian playing with his polar bear. Will Canada finally be able to be noticed now that his brother sees him?

The world conference means fighting and yelling amongst nations. What it doesn't usual entail is someone hitting Matthew, an annoyed Alfred speaking French and Arthur and Francis acting like parents to the Northern America's.
