Listen carefully. My name was Zoey. Zoey Cross. I'm eighteen. Orange hair, green eyes, kinda like any normal human. Well I'm not. And don't get too excited. It's not fun - at all. I grew up in a lab. Along with six other kids. Hell, Eli, Nem, Mazzi, Jay, and Fang. We aren't normal, or human for that matter. We're 89% human, 7% avian, and 4%, well to be honest we don't know exactly. Were hybrids, created in a lab and force to live in glass cages. But we got out. We're free. Well, as free as winged teenagers can be. Hold on tight, this is my story. Oh, and try to keep up.

My name shouldn't matter to the likes of you, however, I will indulge you and tell you at least my first name; Test Subject number 52. I am eighteen years of age, as far as I know. I'm not normal.
