Reese runs away from home, her family, leaving her life in between. Due to a coincidence her life changes completely when a couple give her an offer she cannot resist. Now as Duana Loafer she is living an entirely different life with a different family, a family with secrets and conflicts thatduana can't help but be burdened with. Now she must find a way to adapt to this new life and change her style of living, completely. And deal with her new family while still looking after her real family from afar.

The story 'The Amendment' is basically about the character Stary Glide. A girl who is ambitious, soft-heartened and belongs to average background family. She is subservient, poised and surefooted but the life has some hazardous things in store. After being so courteous eventually she ends up being hurt. She was always happy with what she had but after being disarmed by her loved ones, she thinks of making amendments in her disturbing and not so happening life. so she takes the initiative and becomes the most successful entrepreneur. but do you think was it that easy.
