This is a Selection fanfic. All rights go to Kiera Cass, the wonderful author. I do not own any of the characters. Some of you may have read 'America and Maxon-Wedding(my version)', that I wrote. If you haven't it's fine, you don't need to. But basically, this is just another single scene that I've imagined and have wanted to put into writing. Some of the things in this scene will be different to what happened in the book but, it is fanfiction, that's what it is for! Please enjoy:)

This takes place after the 1st book in the Selection series (*that Kiera Cass owns*). I was a little sad about some parts of the story so decided to change things up and rewrite The Elite! America is still in The Selection, and a royal family comes to visit... including Maxon's best friend, the handsome Prince Logan. It's rumored that Logan has his eye on one of Maxon's girls... but which? And is Maxon willing to give up without a fight?

Maxon chose Celeste at the ceremony since the rebels didn't attack. America goes home devastated. Her people turn on her thinking that she must have done something terrible to lose the selection to Celeste. America was forced to live as a 7 after her parents died. Maxon and Celeste have been engaged for a year. They hate being together as a couple. Maxon has to go to Carolina on business. Celeste stays at the palace. Will Maxon see America or will he be forced to be with Celeste. Read to find out!

America Singer worked hard through her teen years to help support her family in the expensive providence of Angeles. She worked as a piano player and singer at a local club in the downtown area. One night a newcomer came in and America couldn't get him out of her head.
