Alyssa founds herself in a situation that many would call a dream and many others a nightmare. She is forced to give up on the life she always knew to get used to a completely different world, how will things go for her? This is fan fiction based on Broadway's Musical: Hamilton, written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Originally this story wasn't meant to be a Character x Character so I won't anticipate any future possible couples. Just so you know, the story is not meant to be historical accurate so if that bothers you, you're warned. ((Ps. English is NOT my first language so I apologise in advance for grammar or any other kind of mistakes, thank you for understanding and feel free to correct me))

Please remember this is a fictional story, and not in any way meant to threaten, convince, or persuade anyone from committing crimes against anyone or government. As much as I love Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere," it gets pretty much everything wrong. Spoiler alert: Revere never made it to Concord. So I remade the poem to be historically accurate.

Phoebe has been encumbered with a task: finding a husband. Of course, it was a rather common expectation for a young woman of the early 1800s. However, Phoebe's husband-to-be had additional requirements. First, the man should be willing to give his name to a woman who decorated her conversations with stutters. Secondly, the husband-to-be would have to sacrifice his previous pursuits and instead continue her father's plantation. Thirdly, the said-husband must be of liberal-mind and use the plantation as a ruse to free slaves. Surprisingly, this task may not be as herculean to a visiting English-man.

[ Cover art by KaisarReitz on FurAffinity. ] Francis Gale was isolated. The black-backed jackal was born to an increasingly-mad father on a Virginia plantation, tucked safely away from society. Reared amongst pedigreed racehorses and a house of servants. Sheltered from the war on America's doorstep. Soon he discovers a remedy to his loneliness. However, the cost rapidly proves itself to be greater than Francis anticipated. Zachariah was underestimated. He was the collared lizard brat of a nameless slave and separated from his twin sister Charlotte. Always amiable and supportive of his bosom friend, Francis. A naïve and shallow-minded boy. Yet an unprecedented bitterness lurked within him. Peter Lawson was forgotten. One of a brood of twelve Catahoula Leopard Dogs, he never stood out from his siblings. He resented the aristocratic world he was thrust into and longed for adventure in the untamed wilderness of his country. But Peter found himself pining after something more than adventure; a daring pursuit to act upon in the face of his society. Miss Raindrop was born into the rain. The white drop-shaped marking on her forehead was a clear reflection of it. From the moment she laid eyes on her Francis, she was determined to protect him. To be his horse. And she could only witness the storm he was thrust into as a forbidden love and a revolution threatened to drown him.
