This is more like an essay but I turned it into 4 chapters, this book describes how a male feels he can oppress a female even at a teenage age, this enticing short story shows how a girl is bullied by a boy even when she is on her right, this has happened to soooo many girls causing young girls to their graves, the writer feels that there is not need for silence. Enjoy

This is a compilation of all the essays and notes I wrote while I was in ALevels. It must be noted that not all of of these are A* material (though none goes lower than a grade B) so they aren't meant to be copy pasted for your school assignments. Use them as a review or to learn more about the novels, plays and poems you are analysing. Feel free to discuss and critique all the essays in this compilation, it'll help you learn new ideas and broaden your perspective of the material. Communication is the key! This is solely for helping ALevel literature students as I remember the pain of not being able to find enough reference material on the web, if you want to contribute to it feel free to message me it would be much appreciated. This includes essays and notes on the following texts: 1. Robert Frost's selected poems 2. The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri 3. Philadelphia Here I Come! by Brian Friel 4. Sweet Bird of Youth by Tennessee Williams 5. Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen 6. The Winter's Tale by William Shakespeare 7. Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie 8. The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams

Preye is an Ijaw girl. She is from a middle-class unstable home, where her father doesn't believe that there should be Joint conjugal roles. He criticizes her for being hard working at school and outside the home. Preye would do anything to make sure her father sees anything better than just a woman in her. Aspired by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's "Americanah".
