ENTRY FOR _ONCE_UPON 2018 HOLIDAYS CONTEST FIRST PLACE WINNER This story is based off of two dolls I had as a child. Felicity Merriman and Elizabeth Cole from the 'American Girl Doll' company. They were physical dolls that had a historical book series that they were placed in. In this short story, ten year old me travels back into their story time to experience their trials with them.

However with all the negativity that circulates in the world about black people I decided why not embrace us for all the positivity we have done or what we are or what we are not.
