Love Is An Abomination is a novel about how homosexuals were persecuted throughout history, mainly focusing on the 1800's in the New World, or early America. In 1776, on July 4, a country and a child was born. That child was Charlotte Jane Atwood, or better known as Jane. Jane was born into a poor family in New York that became rich after her father was hired as a banker in the new government system. Jane was a peculiar child who never spoke. It was not until she met Susan "Sue" Baker, did she finally break her silence. This is a tragedy ending in death and sorrow. But it is also a tale of great friendship, family, and above all else, love. (This an original story set in the 1700-1800s. Some facts have been exaggerated for dramatic effect. Almost all characters are original and credited to me. Thank you.)

Note this is not completely the accurate history of the American Revolution.

The year is 1777 and young Lucy Williamson hadn't wanted to get caught up in the conflict. She had wanted to observe the conflict between the British and the Patriots for as long as possible, but that was before she had met Henry and his piercing blue eyes. She is swept into a world of secrets and spies and discovery, but when the sunsets and night falls Lucy soon finds that her actions have consequences and in this new world all those she loves are at stake. This is my first story here (I'm super excited!). It tells the story of how Lucy meets Henry and what happens because she gets involved with him. I love comments(!!!) and am open to all constructive criticism and positive feedback! Thanks and enjoy!!!

Christina Hale was born to wear silk and smile politely. She loves the gowns, the music, the glittering balls-but she also loves the quiet ink-stained hours spent alone in her father's print shop, a rare inheritance secured under strict conditions: she may indulge her "childhood fancy," but only if she maintains her family's reputation and marries well. Men like Benedict Amherst-wealthy, refined, and ambitious-seem perfectly suited. He works alongside her brother securing shipping contracts for their Loyalist family. His interest in her isn't personal-it's transactional. But when Ethan Tallmadge, a courier for the Continental Army, arrives asking questions about her anonymous column-how it prints tips no one outside Loyalist circles should know-Christina finds herself torn. The words she once wrote in secret for amusement have become belief. And now, she must choose: remain the object they all expect her to be... or become the turncoat no one sees coming.

"So through the night rode Paul Revere; And so through the night went his cry of alarm To every Middlesex village and farm, - A cry of defiance and not of fear, A voice in the darkness, a knock at the door, And a word that shall echo forevermore! For, borne on the night-wind of the Past, Through all our history, to the last, In the hour of darkness and peril and need, The people will waken and listen to hear The hurrying hoof-beats of that steed, And the midnight message of Paul Revere" -Paul Revere's Ride by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Nothing lasts forever, and no one knows that more than America. Her entire life has been a burden on her shoulders, and she's been through more than most can imagine. Finally, she experiences a relieving era of relative peace, but there's a storm brewing on the horizon. She won her freedom centuries ago, but some wars never stay buried. This time, however, she's not only fighting for herself. America has fifty children to protect at all costs. No one else knows they exist. Not her enemies, not her friends. She's all alone. She prefers it this way, and she does everything in her power to maintain this unstable and temporary peace. Unfortunately, some people won't let that happen. America must decide who to trust, because the British are coming, and they're coming for her. DISCLAIMER!! This is just for fun, and it is not my intent to push any political agendas. Also, it is in no way historically, culturally, geographically, or stereotypically accurate. This is all a story I made completely, as I said before, for fun, and the countries are characters, and have almost nothing to do with their political states in this story. Also, warning, there will be fighting, and blood.
