Historical story told through the memory of a old lady, recalling her life to her grandchildren. Family secrets will be revealed and love trysts will be revisited. This story is told amongst the back drop of the majors events during the 20th Century.

This is just a simple poem I wrote myself and it won first place in the poetry contest at my local library. It won me a lime green writers notebook, a book of poems, and $25. Everyone enjoyed it so much that my dad got me to read it in church on Memorial Day. That being said, I thought I would let you guys enjoy it and tell me what you think.
