The hardest part of living in society today are probably the labels, and you will now meet two of the most conflicted polar opposite examples of them. Imagine the type of person so quiet you would hear a pin drop before they even spoke. This is a basic description of Matthew, a first year in college and nowhere near proud enough to show it. The only thing that might set him apart from any other student would probably be the fact that he is at the top of his class. On the other hand you have Alfred, a third year and most likely the most immature person you'll ever meat. He, unlike Matthew is a social butterfly and seems to have the ideal life of a college student, apart from one thing, he is failing his classes. After the two meet Matthew made it his personal mission to tutor Alfred.The only person other than teachers at Garrison College that knew Matthew existed was Alfred and that meant a lot to him. Alfred spent every second he could with him and even though Matthew was insistent that Alfred didn't pay him a dime, this kind of made up for it. The two seemed to get along over the few things they had in common, their unsettling family situations and their love for coffee. They both agreed to meet every day together for coffee at three pm. The two opposites could possibly help each other fix their problems, find out in "Coffee at Three".

Matthew loves Alfred, but Alfred develops a dangerous habit. After the bruises become more frequent, someone finally notices, and they won't stand for it. Alfred is a sweetie at heart, and he really tries his best at times. He wants to be happy, and wants everyone to be happy. The only problem? He likes to get what he thinks he deserves, wants other's happiness and his own a little too much for himself to handle. Maybe that's just a side effect of being spoiled as a child. Matthew on the other hand, is a bit harder on the outside. Not cold, or edgy, just firm. He takes a serious approach to life, but relaxes when he thinks it's okay to. All he wants in life is what he thinks he's lawfully deserved, not what he desired. Though sometimes, just settling is a bit tiring. Promises made at childhood that get followed into adulthood seems cute and cliche at first, but these two lovebirds decided to try it out for themselves one day. Life seems perfect when you're blind, and they both need glasses. One day they could realize, that life isn't always a Lifetime™ movie, and promises made when innocent don't always last or end well.
