Bree is a 17 yr old girl who is moving to a new town. Little does she know this town will be the beginning of her depression.

Just a translation, as I couldn't find it anywhere so i decided to put mine in here. I really liked this Hindi poem by Kabir and I know this isn't even half of wit of the original version. I tried my best to get the tone of the poem, especially the old hindi, along with what kabir tried to make us understand and finessed a little with his poem including the rhyme scheme to keep it as accurate as I could. Hopefully it will give you exact same feeling I had when I first read this poem, for that is all but a poem is, the feeling it encapsulates means so much more than the literal meaning. I hope I did a decent job translating my favorite Hindi poem ever. Happy Reading.

A Poem I Wrote

Gifted is the story of a girl discovering that she has special gifts. During the story she learns that she could fly among other heavenly powers. As they develop angels look over her to protect her from the evil forces working against the forces of good. They help her learn to control and develop her special gifts to save the world. The legend goes that every couple decade’s heaven blessed one worthy human being with angelic abilities. Few actually turned into angels when they died. As her abilities develop there is a turn of events. Apart from the dreams, dizzy spells and cold sweat she experience personal attacks from the damned her mother is abducted to get to her. She learns defend herself and learn how to use her gift to get her back. Time was something they didn’t have as the peace of the world depended on her.
