Cyeria Merwood came from a small village off the coast of England, surrounded in a shroud of mystery. Being rather medieval and backwards in their practices, they were never too keen on the idea of witches. After Cyeria gains her powers, unbeknownst to the village, and makes an ally in the forest, things get rather complicated even to the point of her being outed as a witch and Professor Fig coincidentally coming to her rescue. Her past then impacted every choice she made during her first year at Hogwarts.

I, Kira Nightshade, can see traces of Ancient Magic and I am the Keeper of the secret of dangerous, dark Ancient Magic. Following the events of fifth year, a new adventure awaits for Norah Lee. Boys, exams, school events, common room parties, and old foes outside of Hogwarts. Even battling pensieve guardians was easier than this. Characters are aged up (even if the story's got them in sixth year) to make it more appropriate. Time period is leaning towards the modern day so in case you might find anachronisms in the dialogue or references, this is why. This may also be quite a lengthy fic too. I really can't stress enough that the time period is leaning more to modern day than the 1890s.

"You like me?" Sebastian stared at her through his deep, hazel eyes, and she stared right back. Although the longer she stared, the more it felt as if she was sinking deeper into his gaze. "Yes." Sofiya's voice trembled, "And... I was too afraid to tell you-" "Why wouldn't you tell me?" The Slytherin cut in, taking her hands in his gentle grasp. "B-Because," The girl looked down at their interlocked hands. "Because it hurt to like you, Sebastian. After everything we've been through, after not speaking over the summer, after the grudge I held against you for doing so." The girl inhaled sharply, her now teary-eyed gaze snapping up toward Sebastian, "How was I meant to speak to you after that..?" "Then, when I realized I liked you, it hurt. I thought I would never have you, Sebastian. Yet, this entire time, I tried to convince myself: 'It only hurts this much right now'." --------- After the events of 5th year, Sofiya spends the summer relaxing as much as she can, reconnecting with her friends and using their support to recover from all the trauma she endured. However, the main person who she had started to consider her best friend toward the end of the year never responded to her owl. There was no contact between them at all, ever since their last conversation in the Undercroft. Incredibly hurt, Sofiya decides to give in to this game he was playing. If he didn't want to speak to her for the entire summer, then she wouldn't talk to him for the entire year. No matter what she was feeling for him, it all died the moment she returned to Hogwarts.
