It was a frenzied period of transition for everyone in the Boiling Isles. Belos was dead, the Day of Unity crisis was averted, the covens fell into disarray and fought amongst themselves for control of the empire, despite the Titan having chosen a successor. The Isles were teeming with new life after the conflict, courtesy of the new Empress. Under her rule, magic was no longer restricted and witches were free to pursue any types they wished. Eight years after the fall of Belos, the Owl House disappeared, its inhabitants nowhere to be found, save two. Ten years since she first set foot in the Demon Realm, Luz Noceda has settled in the city of Caja Torácica and married her longtime girlfriend, Amity Blight. They moved into the apartment above Viney's veterinary clinic together and began a new chapter in their lives founding Noceda Bounty Hunting and General Services. They don't know what became of their surrogate family, but they won't give up their search for the Owl House. Luz and Amity Noceda had thought their adventuring days were behind them, but with new career opportunities, encounters with beings from another Titan, corporate espionage, a looming confrontation with the notorious Owl Lady, and the prospect of beginning a family, they might be in for their wildest years yet.

Upholding the family image and living her life for everyone but herself. When would she get the chance to choose for herself? So, after having enough of it, Amity decides to fight for the change she's always wanted. This time she would do something for herself. But change can come in many forms, and in pursuing it Amity gets it in both ways, good and bad. Along the way she discovers that maybe not everything is as it seems and her new perspective on life brings about the biggest changes. But when things between her and the girl she hates most in this world, Luz Noceda, start to change as well, she discovers that maybe there is more between them than just their hate for each other. And that maybe the hate they've held for each other all those years had come from misunderstandings. Ones they couldn't fix before it had grown all too late. "You know what they say don't you?" She inquired as I slipped my hand into her offered one. "And what is it that they say?" I raised a brow and a glint of emotion flashed in her eyes. "Keep your friends close," she said before gripping my hand in hers, "and your enemies closer."

Sergei was born into a world where everyday he felt like he didn't belong. One day though, Amity had pushed it a bit too far, and it really got to Luz. The human had taken it as her leave and decided to give Amity some unwanted space. The witch hadn't meant to push her boundaries, but she really did not know what came over her. Thus, she turned her heel and walked herself home, feeling neglected with a sense of guilt as she slowly started to tear up. Had she messed things up with Luz? Will the human talk to her again after the words she had spit out? All these questions pooled around inside Amity's mind as she ran past, ignoring her parents and her siblings, jumping into bed and silently sobbing into her pillow. ..
